That’s My Best Friend

We all know long distance is hard—and I’m not talking about dating. This is serious long distance: a long distance best friend.

From living down the street from each other to living on opposite coasts, my bestie and I have been inseparable since grade school. When we moved away for college we knew distance had nothing on us… Here are a few things I’ve learned about having a best friend 2,685 miles away:

  1. Your bond grows stronger being apart
  2. You’re constantly texting, snapchatting or facetiming to stay in touch
  3. They give you a fresh new perspective on things
  4. It’s easier to be honest with them
  5. You spend hours reminiscing and laughing about the past
  6. Reunions are a grand affair
  7. Long-distance best friends are friends for life

  1. Aw this is so cute! I have some long distance BFF’s too and it’s nice because you have to talk to them to stay in touch which makes both of you reach out and make the effort more than usual! xx

  2. Aww so cute! I love when you have long-distance friendships or just don’t see your friends for a while but when you do see each others it’s like nothing has changed!
